Jamestown Elementary School Parent Teacher Association

The Goal of the Jamestown Elementary School PTA:

• Our goal is always the same, to put the children first!  We do this by bringing the school families and students together for family-oriented programs and events. 

 

The Purpose of the PTA:

• To promote the welfare of the children and youth in home, school and community
• To raise the standards of home life.
• To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
• To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
• To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical and social education.

 

Who can Join? Anyone! Parents, Teachers, and Community Members are all important stakeholders in our school! Meetings are held monthly in the Media Center the second Tuesdays at 5:30pm
