Dr. Christa DiBonaventura
My name is Christa DiBonaventura, and I have been principal of Jamestown Elementary School since August of 2020. I obtained my Elementary Education degree at Appalachian State University, my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Doctorate of Education from Gardner-Webb University. It is my honor and privilege to serve this community. I am a firm believer that all students can learn in the right learning environment with the support of family and educators. This school year brings exciting opportunities for students, and we encourage you to be an active participant in your child's education. I look forward to working together to ensure that every student has the opportunity to receive a high-quality education and is ready for college, career, and life.

Dr. Benita Kluttz-Drye
Dr. KD comes to Jamestown with a vast, rich background in both P-12 and Higher education. She received her Ph.D. from Rowan University (NJ) where her research examined the intersection of general education and special education, specifically with Black boys looking for ways to improve access, equity, and academic success. She has over 25 years of experience and has worked in various capacities in education. She has been married 33 years to Aaron and has two adult children (Ariana and Alex). Dr. KD enjoys traveling, spending time with family, reading, and trips to the beach or ANY warm climate. Her passion is serving her students, families, and staff to reach their greatest potential. She uses relational connections to help foster academic learning and to improve educational outcomes and equitable access for all students including diverse learners.
